Albums // Beach House // Teen Dream
It’s no secret that Beach House have been smashing it since 2011. Teasers off their highly anticipated third album spread across the web like butter on a crumpet and, since its official release, Teen Dream has done nothing but live up to expectations.

Albums // Other Lives // Tamer Animals
Other Lives latest album – Tamer Animals – is very much part of a recent music movement, of folk artists with influences from rock, indie and dance music. A movement (I’d like to speculate), that has developed due to the increasing popularity of festivals in recent years, with top quality dance and rock acts brushing shoulders with folk bands.

Albums // Penguin Prison
When my best friend dances, her twisting jives are not only hilarious but completely contagious, sure to get me off my backside and on to the dance floor.
From the first couple of seconds into the chorus of Penguin Prison’s first song, Don’t Fuck with my Money on his self titled album (5th September 2011), I instantly envisaged Elsie’s smiley face, singing along at a party and dancing in a coiling fashion. The heart-warming nostalgia that I felt from the one track made me hungry for more electronic rhythms and smooth vocals.
