The Heritage Orchestra – Honda Cultural Engineers
Those chaps at Honda are pretty renowned for creating great content for their adverts, but now they have turned their hands to something you can really get your teeth into – Mini Documentaries!
-->Interviews // Features // Gotye
I must admit, while seated in Universal Music’s foyer waiting to meet one of Australia’s top music artists, I was feeling rather nervous. The award-winning Gotye has over 16,000,000 views on the video of his highly praised track, ‘Somebody That I Used to Know’, a number one album and single in the South Pacific, as well as having headlined at some of the biggest music festivals… So yeah, no big deal. Just another day at the office.
-->Interviews // Lisa Hannigan
Early this month we were fortunate enough to have the company of Lisa Hannigan in our Noize Studios (aka: The Grape Digital Pub). After the success of her Mercury Prize nominated Album Sea Sew, The Irish songstress is back with her personal poetic tunes, sweet husky vocals and folk rhythms. The lovely Hannigan joined us for a chat, discussing gig hecklers, her one-shot music video and played us an acoustic set of her track, Knots.
-->Interviews // The Postelles
Just like their hometown New York City, The Postelles music is loud and vibrant. Their thrashing drums and firm electric guitar strums pumps that good ol’ rebellious attitude into your vains. A ‘Strokes-ish’ sort of sound (not surprising given their artistic producer…), with more wholesome-pop vocals. Similar to these sorts of US artists, their melodies depict a 1950s ‘rock ‘n roll’ influence, catchy tracks with a alternative edge.
