Attic Lights have come up with a groundbreaking idea for their forthcoming single, “Wendy”, out next week. The critically acclaimed Glaswegians have opted to re-record their new single replacing the original’s chorus [“Wendy, Wendy…”] with the most popular girls’ and boys’ names in the country, so that everyone can have their own musical ode to hand to lovers, losers, friends, family, colleagues, milkmen, milkmaids, postmen, postmaids (?) everywhere.
Says singer and chief Attic Light Kev Sherry: “It’s such a simple idea; I can’t believe no-one’s thought of doing it before. Just imagine your own personal versions of ‘Ruby’, ‘Billy Jean’, ‘Hey Jude’, ‘Mandy’, the list is endless!”

These personalised versions will be available to hear and download at www.yournameinasong.com from Monday 6th Oct. Buy your own song, buy a friend or loved one a song - don't say it by text, say it with Attic Lights!

The single is followed on October 13th by the release of the band’s debut album, “Friday Night Lights”.
