Ones to Watch: Cats In Paris
16/7/08 Cats In Paris formed less than a year ago from four childhood and university friends, Ben Summers (drums), Sara Beard (synths and vocals), Lorien Edwards (bass) and Michael Watson (synths, violins, vocals). Signed to Akoustik Anarkhy early 2008, they released debut 7” Foxes in April of this year, and have shared bills with Man Man, Dan Deacon, Chrome Hoof, Why? and The Ruby Suns.
Alongside their frequent live appearances, the band continue to appear in Michael’s brilliantly eccentric webcomic, Michael’s Exciting Life; a kind of Look-in photo story for people who read snooty music blogs. We dare you to visit www.michaelsexcitinglife.co.uk and not get sucked in.
