Anne Freier is a highly prolific East German born, London based musician writing, performing, recording and producing songs, compositions for film and electro acoustic pieces. More than a touch reminiscent of Regina Spektor, her uniquely quirky and luscious melodies will have you hooked from the first listen.
Anne combines popular melodies, packaged in uncommon structures with often comical lyrics; making use of experimental and versatile styles. Her first four albums are: '§1', '§2', 'The Playmaker' and 'Dancing with the Sandman' - all written and produced within one year. She is currently producing her fifth album of which some songs can be already heard on myspace.

Here's the great thing for you: she plays at least one new song at nearly every gig, so you'll never get bored of that same old show most other bands and soloists put on. Since Anne is constantly writing and recording new songs her myspace playlist will change regularly, so keep on coming back to check out new tracks!
