In advance of release, Esser T-shirts will be available to buy at forthcoming gigs, online and in stores (details tbc), with each T bearing its own unique bar code and catalogue number. This 'password', once inputted, with entitle the buyer to their copy of the single.

After the debut 7" release of 'I Love You' earlier this year on hip label Merok (Klaxons, Teenagers), Esser has signed to equally hip label Transgressive (Foals, Young Knives).

The first release for this exciting new partnership is 'Headlock'. Released on digital download only it's wonderous pop mash-up reminiscent of classic Beck or Ian Drury - telling the tale of the obsessions of being in love – with the wrong sort. "I've got a problem it's called livin'. When will I learn that you're no good for me. Oh, you've got me in a headlock, nothing in the world's gonna help me know"
Produced with Lexxx, sidekick of the A-List mixer Mark 'Spike' Stent (U2, Madonna) – Esser's debut album is well under way. But before that, enjoy this new British Pop maestro at his very best through this release.
