Crystal Castles new single 'Vanished' release details + UK tourdates (news / gigs)

Taken from the Toronto duo Ethan Kath and Alice Glass’ critically-lauded debut album, their brilliant new single ‘Vanished’ effortlessly mixes gleefully brutalist electro noise with darkly hypnotic pop hooks, sounding like a crisp new futurist version of Depeche Mode. If they were 20 year old electro nihilists from Canada.
Following swiftly on from their triumphant headline performances topping the bill on NME’s New Noise Tour, ‘Vanished’ is released on download and as a numbered vinyl 7”. Completing the package are two suitably apocalyptic dancefloor-slaying remixes by Paris underground hero Play Paul (One Inch Snail mix on the 7” and the RE-WRKD club mix on download).
This summer sees Crystal Castles packing up their combination of vintage synthesisers, haunting melodies and punk attitude to blow us all away at all the UK’s finest festivals including Glastonbury, Latitude, Reading/Leeds and Bestival.
