Friday Night Hero – ‘Faster’ (single / unsigned review)
Friday Night Hero are a five piece indie band, hailing from Brighton who have been shortlisted for the Indy Music Awards 2008! After putting it into your CD player you won't have any doubt in your mind as to why! They produce a sound that’s perfect for summer.
Faster is one of the finest tracks I've heard this year, it mixes energetic lyrics with some instrumentals that can only be described as interstellar, from the instant I heard this track the volume on my stereo was turned right up. These guys are also not just one track wonders the rest of the tracks to the single are fantastic, really excellent melodic sounds with lyrics that show a real level of development and progression early on in their careers.
The single itself is just so unbelievably easy to listen to, you just want to put it on over and over again. After the first listen to this, I actually felt bad about myself for not having come across them sooner. I cannot impress on your how good this is, this is really good, really, really good! I can wait to hear what they release later on in the year!
