Hush The Many (Heed The Few) – ‘Revolve’ (single review)
Recently it seems subtlety is something hard to come by, with every new band fighting for attention by being the loudest, brightest or quirkiest around. But not for London quartet Hush The Many (Heed The Few), because here elegant understatement is the order of the day.
Latest single ‘Revolve’ combines Nima and Alexandra’s tender boy girl harmonies with swirling strings and muted drums, which build into a divine crescendo. Whilst the ‘dressed up fools’ Nima delicately murmurs about are ten a penny right now, bands like Hush The Many are not.
Enchanting and somnolent, this is a band to be cherished.
